Welcome!
In this sociological research project, we understand entrepreneurship as collective action. We focus on entrepreneurial groups, a small number of family members, friends or former colleagues that are jointly engaged in an entrepreneurial venture – the drivers of entrepreneurship as collective action. We strive to analyze dynamics of such entrepreneurial groups in three interrelated empirical projects. More specifically, we examine trajectories and transitions of such groups, their capacity to negotiate future and current changes in exit patterns. Find out about what we learned so far – and how you can engage with us on this website.
Our research group is located at the department for sociology at the Technische Universität Berlin and is funded in the Freigeist Program by the VolkswagenFoundation.
